Description of Bond Services
Many States (Florida, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Texas, West Virginia, and Maryland) require a club owner to purchase a bond to protect the members if a club closes and the member has prepaid for their memberships and/or committed to a long term contract. Every state is different so you will need to check with your state’s Department of Consumer Affairs. A bond is a financial guarantee instruments and is unwritten in much the same way as a bank loan.

The basic insurance package to cover your contents, tenant improvements or building coverage along with loss of business income and the liability coverage for all of your club operations.
Description of Worker's Compensation Services
Workers comp is generally mandated in all states. The coverage is written to pay for medical bills and lost wages in the event of an “on the job” injury.
Description of Product Liability Services
If you are manufacturing your own equipment or private labeling any supplements, you need to have a separate policy protecting liability claims arising out of defective product injuries or death.
Description of Employment Practices Liability Services
This is separate insurance designed to protect the club owner from suits brought against the club by and employee for Sexual Harassment, Wrongful Termination, and Discrimination issues.
Description of Trainer Insurance Services
If you are a personal trainer who is working as an independent contractor, you are not protected under a club owner’s liability insurance. As such, you will need to purchase your own professional liability insurance coverage.
