Our Services
Property Casualty Insurance
The basic insurance package to cover your contents, tenant improvements or building coverage along with loss of business income and the liability coverage for all of your club operations.
Bonds
Many States (Florida, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Texas, West Virginia, and Maryland) require a club owner to purchase a bond to protect the members if a club closes and the member has prepaid for their memberships and/or committed to a long term contract. Every state is different so you will need to check with your state's Department of Consumer Affairs. A bond is a financial guarantee instruments and is unwritten in much the same way as a bank loan.
Workers' Compensation
Workers comp is generally mandated in all states. The coverage is written to pay for medical bills and lost wages in the event of an "on the job" injury.
Product Liability
If you are manufacturing your own equipment or private labeling any supplements, you need to have a separate policy protecting liability claims arising out of defective product injuries or death.
Employment Practices Liability
This is separate insurance designed to protect the club owner from suits brought against the club by and employee for Sexual Harassment, Wrongful Termination, and Discrimination issues.
Trainer & Instructor Insurance
If you are a trainer / instructor who is working as an independent contractor, you are not protected under a club owner's liability insurance. As such, you will need to purchase your own professional liability insurance coverage.
Claims
There are specific protocols established for filing property and liability claims. If you have any questions about the claims filing process, please visit the Claims Page for more information, or call our office at 800-985-2021.
